Jacob is a slightly nerdy boy, and is the best friend of Andrew.
In the show, he serves to help Andrew become a better person. When he was being bullied by the Bully Boyz, Andrew ignored him, so he would not get pulled into the fight. Later, Jacob saved Andrew from a pack of loose dogs, so Andrew helped Jacob when he was confronted by the Bully Boyz.
